About Medigize

flagOur mission

To reduce fragmentation, increase trust, and improve continuity and execution quality across healthcare journeys through AI-assisted, human-governed operations.

auto_storiesThe Founding Story

Medigize did not begin with a board meeting about a market opportunity, nor from a mere desire to build another healthcare application.

It began with Dr. Omar Teleb, a Consultant in Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Infertility—a physician who viewed healthcare from multiple vantage points: from within the examination room, as an owner of private medical facilities, and as a leader managing organizations operating across healthcare and medical tourism. Consequently, he didn't just see the patient; he saw the entire ecosystem: the physician, the family, the operations team, the provider, and the vital details that often vanish between them.

In the clinic, many patients arrived carrying bags. Not travel suitcases, nor gifts, but paper bags filled with documents: lab results from one place, scans from another, old reports, prescriptions, and results of previous attempts. They would place them on the desk, their eyes conveying—before a single word was uttered:

"We don't know where to start."

This scene was particularly harsh in cases of delayed conception and infertility. These are not single visits or isolated decisions; they are long journeys involving hormonal assays, repetitive ultrasounds, stimulation protocols, partner testing, treatment cycles, and perhaps surgical procedures, IUI, or IVF. Every single paper might seem small, yet it could fundamentally shift a doctor's understanding of what has happened—and what must happen next.

Here, the pain was not isolated. It was shared across every actor in the journey:

  • The Patient: Carrying their own medical memory, burdened by years of waiting, anxiety, and deferred hope.
  • The Physician: Attempting to reconstruct this memory within a limited timeframe, desperate not to miss a detail that could alter a life-changing decision.
  • The Family: Searching for clarity and reassurance.
  • The Operations Team: Chasing follow-ups through fragmented calls, messages, and incomplete files.
  • The Provider: Requiring better context to deliver quality care.
  • The Partners: Needing trust, documentation, and a traceable pathway.

Over time, it became clear that what manifested so sharply in infertility was not unique to that specialty. Every prolonged or complex healthcare journey—whether in cardiology, oncology, surgery, chronic disease management, second opinions, or post-treatment follow-up—suffered from the same fracture.

From this realization, the question that became the core of Medigize was born:

"Why must everyone in the healthcare cycle start from zero every single time?"

The vision was completed by the founding team:

Dr. Hossam, drawing from his expertise in patient services, operations, and CRM, saw how the journey disintegrated in the small details: a delayed response, a missing piece of information, a broken follow-up, or a patient forced to retell their story repeatedly.

Ms. Yomna, with her background in growth, marketing, SaaS, and automation, recognized that trust in healthcare isn't built on grand slogans, but on clear language and an experience that reassures the patient, the family, and the provider alike.

Eng. Youssef, from his foundation in software engineering, AI, and integrations, understood that the solution couldn't just be a sleek interface or a smart assistant. It had to be a system that preserves context, organizes data, respects permissions, and ensures every step is traceable and auditable.

Thus, Medigize was born.

Not as a platform for a single specialty, nor a medical tourism broker, nor a simple booking tool—and certainly not as an AI attempting to replace the physician.

Instead, Medigize was born as an Operational and Coordination Layer surrounding the healthcare journey. It preserves the patient's story before it fades, provides the physician with clearer context, empowers operations teams to manage rather than "chase," and weaves trust, quality, and documentation into the fabric of the journey itself, rather than as an afterthought.

Medigize began with a bag of papers on a doctor's desk. But that bag was a symbol of a much larger question:

How do we build an unbroken thread between memory and decision, between decision and care, and between care and what follows?

That thread is Medigize.
